The Breast & Endocrine Surgery Unit at Hospital Tuanku Ja’afar Seremban (HTJS) provides comprehensive care for patients with breast diseases, thyroid disorders, parathyroid conditions, and other endocrine surgical problems. As the main referral centre for Negeri Sembilan, the unit offers both elective and emergency services supported by multidisciplinary expertise and modern diagnostic facilities.

The team manages a wide spectrum of conditions, including breast cancer, benign breast lumps, nipple disorders, thyroid nodules, goitre, hyperthyroidism, parathyroid disease, and adrenal disorders. Services include dedicated outpatient clinics, image-guided assessments, oncoplastic breast surgery, endocrine surgery, and long-term follow-up.

A key feature of the service is the Pink Ribbon Center (PRC)—HTJS’s dedicated one-stop breast clinic. The PRC provides same-day assessment, including clinical examination, imaging (ultrasound/mammography), biopsy, counselling, and nurse navigation. This one-stop model ensures fast diagnosis, coordinated care, and seamless communication between surgeons, radiologists, oncologists, and breast care nurses.

The unit works closely with Radiology, Oncology, Pathology, Anaesthesia, and the Pink Ribbon Center team to deliver holistic, patient-centred care. Health education, cancer awareness programmes, and survivorship support are also integral parts of the service.
