The Colorectal Surgery Unit at HTJS provides specialised care for patients with diseases of the colon, rectum, and anus. As a key referral centre for Negeri Sembilan, the unit manages both benign and malignant colorectal conditions through outpatient, elective, and emergency services.
Our team treats a wide range of conditions including colorectal cancer, polyps, diverticular disease, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), haemorrhoids, fistula-in-ano, and other functional or complex colorectal problems. Minimally invasive (laparoscopic) surgery is offered for many cases to support faster recovery and improved patient outcomes.
HTJS is also one of the centres offering Cytoreductive Surgery (CRS) with Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy (HIPEC) for selected patients with peritoneal surface malignancies, providing advanced surgical options for complex abdominal cancers.
